At present we have a large number of books that need to be repaired varying from Bibles and dictionaries that have worked a lot, to old books that are of sentimental value and need some TLC.

It is important to remember that it is very difficult to get an old book back to its original condition. In fact, we do not know of anyone who can do this.

However, we will repair a book and try to retain as much of the original book as possible. Very often, parts of the book are missing –usually the spine. In this case we need to replace the part.

Sentimental messages and notes or dates on the end-pages are retained where it is possible.

Should you require a quote to repair a book, it is necessary for me to see the book. If you cannot bring it in, just take a number of photos of the book with the cover on and with the cover open. In that way we should be able to give you an estimate.
